Publication Ethics

Elsewhere upholds standards of academic and creative integrity. All submissions must be original, unpublished work. This, unfortunately, means we cannot accept translations. Appropriate citations are required for factual content and quoted material. Plagiarism or copyright infringement will result in withdrawal of the piece, and that authors work will no longer be accepted.

Access & Archiving

The journal is fully open-access and hosted through ScholarWorks. The UMass Boston Library will preserve the volume permanently for public access. It is an online publication that does not offer print runs.

Editorial Review

Submissions will be reviewed blind by the editorial team and volunteer readers. We ask that no identifying information be included in the actual body of the text itself. Assistance may be sought from library or our faculty advisors as needed.
