About Elsewhere

Founded in Early 2026, Elsewhere is a campus-based publication comprised of grad students in the English department at The University of Massachusetts, Boston. We’re student-run and faculty advised. Elsewhere is committed to publishing one full Issue per semester.

We’re a small team, but we’re always happy to talk. If you cannot find the answers you’re looking for here, shoot us an email!

We are very interested in our local campus environment. If you are a student at UMass interested in being a volunteer reader, or even potentially joining our staff, we would welcome a conversation with you. UMass is a diverse environment full of diverse perspectives, and we would welcome hearing yours. Note though, staff members and current volunteer readers / editors are by default unable to submit stories for publication.
