Abstract
Alpine Inc. is a leading innovator in internet services. They are consistently hiring new engineers to build their brand and products. With a vast majority of employees, the challenge is onboarding the new hires. As it exists, new hires attend an HR orientation on their first official day. There is no official onboarding experience related to engineering. The Engineering Onboarding Training was designed for this project to alleviate obstacles that new hires come across within their first few weeks on the job. The training is a one-day live course taught by an instructor in the Learning department. The training consists of four modules and is intended for any new hire reporting to an engineering department.
