Post-secondary administrators, faculty and staff, community service providers, state agency workers, and community stakeholders, including post-secondary students and foster parents, are invited to attend UMass Boston's Office of Urban and Off-Campus Support Services (U-ACCESS)'s first annual conference, which will increase knowledge about homelessness, emancipation from foster care, and food insecurity among post-secondary student populations.

Conference Theme: Raise awareness and increase knowledge of homelessness, emancipation from foster care, and food insecurity among the college student population.

Conference Objectives

  • Build a collaborative network for sharing and learning the recent practices and approaches.
  • Promote awareness of challenges and obstacles of homelessness, emancipation from foster care, and food insecurity among college student population
  • Promote a collaborative effort to address issues related to the theme topics
