Description
The COVID-19 crisis spotlights the gender and racial gap for women in the U.S. Women, particularly women of color, disproportionately hold jobs in industries paying minimum and low wages with little to no paid family and sick leave. This will be an interactive discussion about opportunities to create and pass policies that can finally level the playing field for all workers. Smaller group discussions will follow. Breakouts will focus on including immigrant workers, minimum wage/benefits, tax reform, and more.
