Abstract

LOOP IN, PUSH OUT is composed of two novelettes and two short stories that take place in Southern California. It is interested in the intersectionality of place and sexuality, and literary form as an act of transgression. Like the characters in this work, readers will experience displacement, dislocation, dissociation, disconnection, and within the narrative, varying degrees of distance.
