Abstract
WE ARE NOT LEMONS is a collection of 10 short stories that explore the depths of female subjectivity through the lens of women narrators and the occasional omniscient voice. Many of these stories take place in domestic settings, calling attention to everyday moments and the quotidian aspects of life. This collection of stories delves into the themes of desire, trauma, and shifting power within relationships, and produce arises continually throughout the collection as a connecting motif between individual stories.
