Abstract

SKEW LINES is composed of six short stories. The collection weaves together the themes of immigration and dislocation, and the impact they have on familial bonds and selfhood, employing the techniques of literary, as well as psychological, realism. It explores what happens to us, both literally and liminally, when we break free of expectations and step out into an alien place.
