Abstract
Pursuing something new can seem overwhelming due to the amount of time, effort, and practice it may take, but the journey can be just as rewarding as the destination, and every step taken towards it is a step closer to achieving it. With dedication and perseverance, anything is possible. Investing in oneself can lead to personal and professional growth, which can result in improved confidence and skills. It can also present opportunities. Through six years of researching, understanding, and learning about personal growth within the Critical and Creative Thinking program at the University of Massachusetts Boston, I have come to realize that by investing in yourself you can enhance your skills, knowledge, and overall outlook on life. I am presenting a lifelong learning model that can serve as a valuable tool for individuals seeking to maximize their greatest potential. Specifically, I am looking to reach people who are open- minded, interested in self-help, and growth for my first phase. To break it down further I plan to start with friends, family, and colleagues within Higher Education (young adults and young professionals). This model will include strategies for self-reflection, goal-setting, and continuous learning to help individuals develop a growth mindset to achieve their desired outcomes.
