Description

Do you constantly repeat instructions? Are you always fighting with a never-ending noisy classroom? There is a saying in Boston Public school system “There is no classroom management, there is no teaching.” In this session, the presenter will use some videos to show effective classroom management in both high school and elementary school settings and share some professional experiences to help participants understand what are the key elements in building a positive learning environment. The presenter has accumulated many years of experiences working in one of the challenging metropolitan school systems. She was a bilingual teacher for 3 years, a special education teacher for 4 years, and she has been working as a Mandarin teacher for the last 13 years.
