Urban Public Health

With a unique focus on urban populations and the social determinants of health and health disparities, the Urban Public Health Department within The Manning College of Nursing & Health Sciences (MCNHS) aligns with the mission of UMass Boston and MCNHS vision, “to improve the health of diverse urban populations through the integration of teaching, targeted research, service, practice and health policy in partnership with others.”
