Abstract
Viability and Other Stories is a collection of short stories about it and us—America and Americans. Us in love, at war, dissolving, mending, breaking, bending. The perspective is often first-person, voices that can be extravagant, verge on the performative, and are built to reveal the absurd undercurrents streaming through modern life.
